Stomach sleeping

Latex mattresses for stomach sleepers: keep the midsection supported

Stomach sleepers often need enough resistance to limit excessive midsection sink. A responsive latex surface can work well, but the mattress still has to be firm enough for the sleeper.

Start firmer, then fine-tune comfort

A mattress that lets the pelvis sink substantially below the chest and legs can feel unsupportive in a stomach position. Body size changes the amount of compression, so firmness labels are only a starting point.

Eco Terra consideration

The Medium-Firm is the more logical Eco Terra starting point for stomach sleepers who already know they need greater resistance. Sleep Foundation’s independent testing also scored that version more favorably for many stomach-sleeper groups.
